Are all employees entitled to take Maternity Leave regardless of length of service?
Yes - every employee is entitled to take up to 52 weeks Maternity Leave made up of 26 weeks Ordinary Maternity Leave followed by 26 weeks Additional Maternity Leave from day 1 of employment with you. What does depend on service is whether or not your employee will be entitled to receive Statutory Maternity Pay.
