An Apprentice is entitled to receive a minimum wage but the rate of pay for an Apprentice is not the same as for the National Minimum Wage.
How do I check the hourly rate from an annual, monthly or weekly wage?
Annual – Divide the annual salary by 52 weeks; divide the answer by the number of hours the individual works in a week. Monthly - multiply the monthly salary by 12 months; divide the answer by 52 weeks; divide that answer by the number of hours the individual works in a week. Weekly – divide the weekly salary by the number of hours the individual works in a week.
